Goals and activities of the Association are:<\/span>
\n<\/strong>–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0keeping a register of its members;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0assisting with protection of rights and reputation of its members;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0monitoring and supervising application of rules – code of medical ethics and
\ndeontology – and suggesting adequate measures if they are broken;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0organising professional development in the field of neurosurgery;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0organising professional meetings, symposia, congresses in the field of neurosurgery;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0establishing exchange of experience and information with other neurosurgical
\nassociations and societies at home and abroad;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0participating in the drawing up of medical specialisation\/residency programmes and
\npostgraduate neurosurgical studies;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0planning, monitoring, supervising sub-specialisation and other forms of neurosurgical
\ndevelopment;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0monitoring and recommending requirements for professional development in terms of extending
\nthe activity;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0initiating and proposing members of commissions for specialist examinations to the relevant
\nMinistries, medical associations and medical institutions;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0monitoring and recommending content and target dates\/terms of checking neurosurgeons\u2019
\ncompetence;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0taking care and keeping a record of doctors professionally exposed to risks of health damage;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0encouraging friendly cooperation among the Association members;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0initiating, monitoring and participating in the drawing up of standards and normative provisions
\nfor neurosurgical services;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0initiating and suggesting organisation of a network of neurosurgical activity;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0ensuring lasting material and financial independence of the Association by way of marketing and
\npublishing activities, and organising professional lectures and seminars, etc. for the needs of its
\nmembers provided by Law;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0initiating and supporting exchange of experience and information with university medical centres
\nand associations, other associations and legal persons at home and abroad;
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0carrying out other activities and tasks provided by the Association\u2019s Programme and Work Plans.<\/p>\n
